Punjabi movie Haani Review : Story
Punjabi movie Haani has different and a unique storyline. The film simultaneously narrates two different eras of life. The first plot belongs to 1964 where Ranjit (Harbhajan Mann) and Jagga (Sarabjit Cheema) are best friends and Ranjit falls in love with Sukhaan (Mahreen Kalela) who loves her to death. The other plot belongs to 2013 which involves a love story of Harman (Anuj Sachdeva) and Preet (Sonia Mann). Somehow destiny connects both the love stories together.

Amit Joe Mann is the director of the movie. After two hindi movies Kaafila and Hawaayein, Haani is the first Punjabi movie directed by Amit Joe Mann. He has directed the movie very well.

The story and screenplay of the movie are both done by Amit Joe Mann. The story of the movie is so well written and executed. It has such a storyline that is not shown till now. Screenplay is very well written that it fits both the plots of the story.

Dialogues of the movie are written by Sardar Sohi. He has done his work very well.

Jaidev Kumar has given the melodious music of the movie. Tracks like Tang Sajjan Di, Teri Meri Jodi and Jagga are fab. The tracks of the movie are sung by Shaukat Ali, Harbhajan Mann and Sarbjit Cheema.

Punjabi movie Haani Review : Star Casts
Star Cast of the movie completely fits the story. It was a pleasure to watch Harbhajan Mann after a period of time. Sarbjit Cheema was in a different style and acted very well. Mehreen Kalela played her role very well. He has everything required. She has good looks, talent and lovely voice. Sonia Mann and Anuj Sachdeva gave a good performance. Rest of the cast Rupan Bal, Shweta, Ashish Duggal, Sardar Sohi, Balwinder Vicky, Rupinder Rupi, Dil Khush, Gurdev Dhillon, Gursharan Mann and Gurvinder Sandhu were good at their part.

Overall Hanni has a unique story which you might not have seen in any Punjabi or even in Hindi movies. The movie truly worths it.
