The most beautiful and famous female singer Miss Pooja was born on 4th of December 1974 with original name Gurinder Kaur Kainth. She was born at Rajpura, Punjab in the family of Punjabi Nirankari. Her father’s name is Inderpal Kainth and mother Saroj Devi. She has one sister Maninder Kaur and one brother Manpreet Singh

Miss Pooja has an experience of musical teaching of 2 years in Patel Public School, Rajpura, Punjab.She took her musical training from her ustads Kesar Nand Kesar and Mahinder Singh Nagina.
Her childhood name was Pooja so so she started her musical career with “Miss Pooja” as her name. From her young age she has been loving to sing and dance. She made her mind set that she want to pursue her career as singing artist.
Miss Pooja is widely regarded as having revived Punjabi Duet Songs. During late 1980s’ to early 21st Century, Punjabi duets were given second place by DJs. However Pooja’s duets are often played at the top in each and every parties.
Miss Pooja has now become the largest selling Female Bhangra Artist in India and Overseas. She has recorded near 500 songs and has released duets with more than 70 different male singers.She had an opportunity to work with famous singers such as Punjabi By Nature, Lehmber Hussainpuri, DJ h and DJ rags.A reason for her success may be taken as rapid increase in number of songs that she continues to record.
It was noticeable that Miss Pooja seems to be recording manu songs that were written by famous Punjabi Song Writer Mr. Karamjit Puri, Village Bhagta Bhai Ka, Punjab.
She have huge fan following especially male fans.Her physical attractiveness and her natural beauty played an important role for her in getting more attention in India as well as Oversea.
Miss Pooja got her first opportunity to sing professionally in January 2006 with music director duo Lal-Kamal, when she her first album with singer Darshan Khela, called ‘Jaan To Pyari’. The first song of Pooja recorded was ‘Bhann Churiyan Pyar Tera Vekhdi’ which was very well received, leading her to record her hit ‘Pani Hoge Dhunge Johna Lama Chand Deba’ from her next album ‘Pind Da Shingar’ with Shinda Shonki. Her third album ‘Ik Tere Karke’ with Preet Brar made her got more recognition in developing her into a household name in the Punjabi Music Industry in India and Overseas. And then she kept on going with massive Bhangra duets like ‘Seeti Marke’ with Geeta Zaildar and ‘Petrol’ by Preet Brar.
Miss Pooja is often compared by another famous and popular female bhangra singer ‘Sudesh Kumari’. They both are recognised for their high pitch voices.
She became successful female singer who got international recognition and das toured America, USA, U.K., Canada and Australia amongst many others.
Miss Pooja have successfully stolen the hearts of many in India and abroad with her versatile style of singing and her god gifted appearance.
